Happy St. Patty's Day!

"May you always be blessed
With walls for the wind,
A roof for the rain,
A warm cup of tea by the fire- -
Laughter to cheer you,
Those you love near you,
And all that your heart
might desire."
~An Old Gaelic Blessing
Did you know? Corned beef is English! Irish actually ate cabbage and thick, cured bacon on this day. (They didn't have corned beef). Also, blue is the "National color" of Ireland.

Happy St. Patty's Day to you too! Are you wearing green? I purposely didn't wear it yesterday so I could add a touch of it to today's outfit; of course I forgot to wear it today! Oh well...

Even though I'm just home for the day, I'm wearing my green! (I've even got a subtle green tint to my nail polish, lol!) The corn beef, cabbage, onions & potato's are in the crock pot already, for dinner later! And the St. Patty's Day Parade from Manhattan in on every tv in the house! This coming Saturday Hubby's marching with his American Legion Post in a local parade. (I'll be out front of the post taking pics). Afterwards we'll be getting our Irish on! (Mine by birth, his by marriage, lol!)
