Honoring September 11th (cont'd from last post) and 30 Days of Creativity in Sept (Day 11)

If you have a moment, please scroll down until you see the green music widget let it load and listen to the song I've chosen for today, "Where Were You...?" by Alan Jackson. (This will only be on the widget from 9/10 thru 9/14). No matter when I hear this song, my tears flow. So true. A wonderful gift for us to remember we aren't alone in what we experienced and felt 8 years ago today.

This morning I put the above together on the mantle, to honor those lost 8 years ago today. For me, this is part of the 30 Days of Creativity in September.

I watched a show on Natl Geo channel the other night called simply 9/11 and I simply could not take my eyes off the screen as tears rolled down my face. I wonder if I will ever reach that point that that is not so painful to watch. I cannot imagine the pain of those that lost loved ones.

I can't not hold my breath when I see the Towers fall. It's still so horrifying and beyond comprehension.

I love that song. I listen to it periodically throughout the year and always on today........
