How lovely! I am going to have to check my gardent this weekend to see if my butterfly bushes are doing the same! :)Cheers!
I believe I noticed tiny little bits of green around Christmas and don't remember them beginning to get green so early before. They're a fave of mine and it makes me very happy to see even just these small leaves!
We so appreciate the greenery when it's rare! In summer time things are brown around my area, but right now it's lush with miner's lettuce and other new green leafy things.
Good old butterfly bush. She's a tough old girl, and still a charmer with all the passing flutter-bys.
Yes Country Mouse, we certainly do! I especially love it when it's peaking out from snow! And don't forget about the Butterfly Bush's heavenly scent Helen! Living here on the coast, the humidity can be a bit much at times (well, a lot of the time, lol!) but I relish in the humidity bringing out the butterfly bushes scent! It's a bit of heaven on earth for me!
Hooray for the Butterfly Bush. I guess it doesn't need a very long winter nap. I've never grown one, but would like to. donna
Thanks for stopping by Donna! I love the Butterfly Bush and it is one of the things I most look forward to seeing bloom again each year.
