Snowy Saturday

We awoke to this.

Snow warms my heart!

This blizzard didn't give us as much as the one before Christmas, only about half.

On the outside looking in.

And then the day ended with a sudden & glorious sunset!

(These are slightly out of order! This and the next photo should appear at the end).

(Dern blogger, lol!)

I gasped when I looked out of the living room window and saw this sky!
(So unexpected!)

I ran out onto the porch without putting my jacket back on to take these!

And while I was in sweat pants & my faux uggs, I was also in a short sleeved t-shirt so I was fairly red & numb when I finally went back inside but this sunset was so beautiful, it was worth it! (These are the actual colors of that sunset, I didn't change the photo's at all except to crop a few).

I hope everyone is safe and enjoying their weekend no matter what your weather has been like since yesterday! (Be careful tomorrow too!)

A quick update: is Very Happily settled into her new home at the assisted living facility she choose down in FL! She moved in this past Monday & I spoke with her this afternoon and I don't remember the last time I heard her sound so good! I'm so glad! We are very relieved.

Also, new pics over at NewJerseyThroughMyEyes.

Thank you Brenda, on all counts! :~)

Indeed it was Holli! It lasted all of maybe 10 minutes.

LoL, thank you Cindy! I enjoyed taking them!

I'm very much doing the happy dance for SIL too! It's such a relief to hear her sounding so good and to know she's in a place where she will be looked after on a daily basis.
